Gordon Medical replaces a long established medical practice with a new purpose designed facility positioned prominently on a residential corner in Maribyrnong.
The design responds to the planning context through a composition of familiar pitched forms, robust masonry and carefully scaled openings, allowing the building to maintain a strong public identity while remaining sympathetic to the surrounding residential fabric.
Internally, the centre is organised around clarity, accessibility and efficient clinical movement, while the exterior presents a calm and contemporary expression that acknowledges the character of its neighbourhood rather than competing with it.
